It's that time again: a new year of the junior academy is being announced, for the third time under the direction of the German Foundation for General Practice and Family Medicine.

Over the past eight years, around 110 students have been accompanied and supported on the final stage of their studies through to the first stages of further training. The idea of networking highly motivated and interested students throughout Germany and bringing them together with experienced GPs has been a success. And student interest remains high.

The nationwide application of the program at the general medical university locations is an important basis for the continuation of the support program.

As of now, medical students from the fourth to eighth semester can apply again.

The application deadline is January 15, 2020.
